Weather – Mainly cloudy. 40 percent chance of flurries this morning and early this afternoon. Temperature steady near -12. Tonight will be mainly cloudy with a low of -18.

Marine – Freezing Spray Warning. Wind north 20 knots diminishing to north 10 near noon then veering to northeast 10 early this evening. Wind increasing to northeast 20 near midnight and to northeast 25 Saturday morning. Wind backing to north 20 near noon Saturday then to northwest 15 Saturday evening. Waves 2 metres subsiding to less than one half metre this afternoon then building to one overnight.

News Tidbits – Ontario511 reports that Highway 17 was closed last night for about half an hour at the Montreal River Bridge for a disabled vehicle.
