News Tidbits – Hwy 17 at the Alona Bay Lookout remains closed at this time. There has been no updates as to when it might open. Wawa-news will continue to update as information becomes available.

A small plane travelling from Sault Ste. Marie to Timmins had navigational issues, and tried to stop in Sudbury. Unfortunately he also experienced an engine failure and landed upside down in a swamp between Whitson and Garson Lakes. The pilot and his dog survived the crash without injuries.
