Weather – A mix of sun and cloud today with a 30% chance of showers this afternoon. Fog patches dissipating this morning. High of 20C and the humidity is at 96%.

Forest Fires – There were no new fires confirmed in the Northeast Region between May 23 and the afternoon of May 25. So far this fire season, there have been 18 forest fires confirmed in the region totalling 15 hectares burned. The current fire hazard is low to high across the region, with the far North presenting the highest hazard.

News Tidbits – The construction zone south of Wawa is growing. If you are travelling south, even if it is only to the Mission or Michipicoten First Nation make sure you have a little extra time for delays.
