Request for Artifacts
The Michipicoten Heritage Committee is requesting assistance from the public in supplying any Wawa Goose souvenirs/artifacts that they have to display in the Tourist Information Center this summer. With the unveiling of the new Wawa Goose and Canada’s 150th celebrations, it is set to be an exciting summer in Wawa and we would like to celebrate the goose by creating a display of different souvenirs. There will be a loan/donor agreement provided and your name can be displayed with your item if you wish.
Types of souvenirs/artifacts that we are looking for include photos, souvenir plates, miniature statues, spoons, thimbles, cups, placemats, Goose Bucks, etc. If anyone has any of these souvenirs/artifacts that they would be willing to lend us for the summer for this display, we would appreciate your help!
Artifacts/souvenirs can be dropped off to Nick Dunham at the Economic Development Corporation office at 96 Broadway. Feel free to contact [email protected] with any questions.
