Marine Forecast – Wind light becoming northwest 15 knots early this morning then diminishing to southeast 10 near noon. Wind increasing to southeast 15 early this evening then diminishing to light overnight. Wind light Monday. Waves one half metre or less building to one this evening then subsiding to less than one half metre Monday morning. Showers ending this morning with a risk of thunderstorms. Showers overnight and Monday. Fog patches.

News Tidbits:

 

There were no new fires confirmed in the Northwest Region by the mid-afternoon of June 20. There are currently six active fires in the Northwest Region – one not under control and the rest are being held or under control. The forest fire hazard is predominantly low to moderate across the region with a few pockets of high hazard in the districts of Fort Frances, Thunder Bay and Dryden.
