SSM Man Identified in Fatal ATV Rollover

On September 15, 2017, shortly after 8:00 a.m., members from the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Algoma Paramedic Services responded to a single vehicle motor collision involving a male driver on an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) on McNie Road in McNie Township.

The investigation is continuing as to why there was a roll over. The operator of the ATV was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. Kenneth AUBIN, 62 years of age from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are assisting with this ongoing investigation.
