Ultralight lands on Highway 129

 

On April 12, 2017 at approximately 8:20 pm Superior East (Chapleau) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an emergency landing of a small Ultra-light plane on Highway 129, twenty seven kilometers south of the town of Chapleau.

There was no collision and no injuries to the lone male pilot. The plane had left West Parry Sound enroute to Wawa.

Transport Canada was notified and is investigating.
