Visiting Hours
Due to COVID-19, some restrictions have been put in place with respect to visitation at the LDHC. Please view the Visitor Guide below for up-to-date and accurate information.
Limited Entry in Place
To continue to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission and protect our most vulnerable people, LDHC visitor restrictions are still in place.
Acute care
Each inpatient may have two dedicated care partners for the patient’s length of stay. One at a time, designated care partners can visit from 1000 to 1200 and 1300 to 1500.
Palliative Care
Two care partners may both visit at the same time to provide end of life care. These visits are not restricted to a time limit and could be different people each day.
Long Term Care
Indoor/Outdoor visits must be scheduled ahead of time. Indoor/Outdoor visits allow for up to two visitors at one time. Please call our Recreation Department at 705-856-2335 ext. 3105 to schedule a visit.
Night Access to Lady Dunn Health Centre
After 8:00pm the front doors at the Health Centre are locked. Emergency entrance to the Health Centre between 8:00 pm and 7:30am can only be gained by communicating with the charge nurse through the intercom system located at the Front Entrance.
Everyone must pass active screening on entry to the facility and wear a surgical mask.
What happens during an outbreak?
During a flu outbreak visitors to the affected Unit will be restricted. Information to that effect will be available to you when you call ahead.
IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING COLD OR FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS, PLEASE DO NOT VISIT.
YOU RISK SPREADING THE ILLNESS TO OUR PATIENTS, RESIDENTS AND STAFF.
