Marine – Strong wind warning in effect. Wind light becoming south 10 knots early this evening then increasing to north 15 Wednesday morning. Wind increasing to north 20 near noon Wednesday then diminishing to north 15 Wednesday evening. Waves one-half metre or less building to one Wednesday morning and to one and one half metres Wednesday afternoon. Waves subsiding to one Wednesday evening. A few showers beginning overnight with a risk of thunderstorms. Fog patches dissipating near midnight.

News Tidbits –  Olivia Mendicino and Julie Ann Chiodo, are bicycling from Vancouver to Toronto, to raise money, raising over $30,000 so far for Pulmonary fibrosis. They’’ve named their ride Forever Lungs (www.foreverlungs.com). Olivia and Julie Ann started their ride in Vancouver on July 8, and should be passing through Wawa today. If you see them give a honk!
