Vintage car aficionados were thrilled today to see a number of Triumphs appear in Wawa, and then be seen parked at the Wawa Motor Inn.
These vehicles are all members of the Toronto Triumph Club taking a summer tour around Lake Superior celebrating Canada at 150 years old. They left Toronto on a 12-day odyssey from June 14 to June 25, 2017. The total distance from Toronto back to Toronto is 2,155 miles or 3,503 kms with an average daily distance of 180 miles or 288 kms.
The owners of these cars believe in “Preserve and Drive the Triumph”, and in the past have circumnavigated of Lake Ontario and Georgian Bay and travelled to destinations such as the Finger Lakes in upstate New York.
The club is one of the largest British car clubs in Canada, and currently members numbers about 300.
