News Tidbits – It is an item to be watched. CBC reports that British lawmakers want Facebook to be liable for “fake news.”

Increasingly there is more and more news posted to facebook that is outdated and incorrect. There is no way to expire a post. For example, the posts about missing people, who have been found deceased and their murderer is now in jail. How heartbreaking for the family who may come upon this re-shared post – perhaps years later.

The indiscriminate sharing of posts make it impossible to follow where a post has travelled, update or correct it as an event evolves.
