- If you are thinking of an electric vehicle, the Ontario government is providing $91 million to help make electric vehicle (EV) chargers more accessible to the public across the province.
- the Wikwemikong Development Commission (WDC) has received $260,000 from the province to help offset pressures caused by COVID-19, ensure the delivery of important community and economic development programs, and support the growth of Indigenous tourism in the community. the WDC “Enaadmaagehjik” has created employment and supports business development. In 1973, the community had five stores and now has 67 businesses offering a range of products and services.
- The Ontario government is increasing the number of both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education positions at the University of Toronto as part of its plan to train and retain more doctors across Ontario.
