Local – Today is St. Patrick’s Day! Be sure to go out to the Legion Hall this afternoon beginning at 4 p.m. to enjoy a beer with your Corned Beef Sandwich served with a side of potato chips and pickle. Downstairs Keith Killins and the ‘Goodtimers’ will be playing. Remember there is no cover charge and sandwiches will be served upstairs and downstairs.

Today is also Flap Jack Friday at The Hub on Broadway Avenue. You are invited to drop in and make your own with all the goodies they have! They are open from 9-12 and 1-4.

There is also hockey at the Michipicoten Memorial Community Centre this weekend. Cheer the Wawa Peewee Travellers team in hosting the NEOHA Grand Finale.
