Hazards:
Snow at times heavy. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 20 cm possible. Locally higher amounts are also possible for areas near the shores of Lake Superior.
Strong southwesterly winds gusting up to 70 km/h.
Significantly reduced visibility in snow and blowing snow.

Discussion:
Snow is expected to begin this evening and continue through Sunday. This snowfall is due to a low pressure system that is expected to track east across the region on Sunday.
Impacts:
Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
