Rain will continue over a swath of regions from near Lake Superior towards Kirkland Lake today. Occasional thunderstorm activity is likely as well. Some areas have already received 20 to 30 mm of rain as of 2 a.m. EDT. Another 10 to 20 mm are expected by the time the rain tapers off late this afternoon or this evening. For areas that receive several thunderstorms, even higher amounts are possible. The area is being monitored for potential rainfall warnings.

News Tidbits – Thunder Bay police are now saying that the death of Brayden Moonias, 18 years old, is a homicide. His body was found beside McVicar Creek, near Thunder Bay’s Marina Park on Sunday, July 6th around 8:40 a.m. by a passerby.
