Hwy 17 (Wawa – White River) OPEN

At 21:40 the highway was reopened.

About 11:30 SE OPP, Wawa Fire and EMS responded to a two vehicle collision approximately 40km north of Wawa on Highway 17. There has been a fatality, and OPP are advising that “Motorists can expect the highway from Wawa to White River to be closed for several hours while police conduct their investigation.” Weather and road conditions remain very poor.
