Rainfall warning in effect – Locally heavy showers are forecast to begin this morning with isolated thunderstorms also expected this afternoon into this evening. Local rainfall amounts up to 25 mm are expected by the time the showers come to an end early Thursday morning. In addition, very mild temperatures will result in rapid snow melt and significant run-off during this time period.

Confederation College recognized the accomplishments of 161 students from its Academic Upgrading program yesterday with a formal virtual ceremony. Students were celebrated for earning certificates, awards and bursaries in recognition of their completion of academic upgrading courses. Eight students received Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) certificates, provincially recognized as a Grade 12 equivalent.
