On August 12, 2018, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Elliot Lake Detachment responded to a report of a missing male from the City of Elliot Lake, Ontario.
OPP investigation has revealed that Lawrence Boyd, 34 years of age was seen leaving St. Joseph’s General Hospital shortly after 5:00 a.m. on this morning. He is described as white, approximately 5′ 7″ tall, slim build, 140 pounds, brown hair with a buzz cut, hazel eyes, unshaven, with a clean appearance. Last seen wearing a grey baggy hoody, baggy shorts, neon green running shoes, a baseball cap and carrying a black & grey packsack.
He has recently moved to Elliot Lake and has ties to the City of Greater Sudbury.
Police and family are concerned for his well-being and are asking the public’s help to locate him. Anyone with information or may know the whereabouts of Lawrence is urged to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
