News Tidbits – Hwy 129 remains closed for culvert replacement at Poulin Creek. Hwy 129 is closed from the Junction of 101/129 and the Junction of 129/667 (Sultan).

Council meets tonight at 6 p.m. in Council Chamber. Of interest to many will be the report by staff on the costs incurred by the Municipality “Receive Staff Report MB 2017-01: Code of Conduct/Complaints – Comprehensive Expenses”.

Council will also talk about making a Dark Sky Preserve in Lake Superior Provincial Park.

The countdown is on for our new goose. Tomorrow night, Thursday, June 8th at 6:30 p.m. the Municipality is asking for everyone to come and be in the farewell picture with the Wawa goose. This will be our Goose’s last sunset. The new Goose will be revealed on July 1st.
