• Don’t Forget… The Legion is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day tonight with live music and corned beef sandwiches. The evening starts at 5 p.m.
• It is difficult to think about summer plaming amidst all the snow – but the Bushplane Museum is planning Summer Camps for of 5-7 yr olds, 7 –10 yr olds and 7-12 yr olds in our special two-week theatre camp. Camps run weekly from July 6 to September 4th, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Every camp offers something unique from a week that’s all about how things fly, another about knights & castles, one about all manner of bugs and animals, and even a special 2-week theatre camp
• Alberta has been selected by the NHL and NHL Players’ Association (NHLPA) to host the World Cup of Hockey 2028, with games being played in Edmonton at Rogers Place and in Calgary at Scotia Place in February 2028. Prague will be the European host city for the tournament.
