Tbaytel has officially launched its Tbaytel for Good Community Fund fall 2018 campaign. “One of the questions we are often asked as Tbaytel for Good judges is what we look for when reviewing the submissions that come in, as well as what we feel makes a successful project stand out,” says Tbaytel for Good selection committee member Marilyn McIntosh. “We wanted to take this opportunity to provide additional information for those who might be interested in applying for the fall campaign, not only to point them in the right direction as they’re putting their submissions together, but also to help ensure their projects are a good fit for the community fund overall.”
There are six funding opportunities are also available for the fall campaign. Applicants select a desired funding level of either $500, $1,500 or $5,000 and design their proposals according to the funding level for which they are applying. Two grants are available in each category.
The Tbaytel for Good selection committee will select the two successful projects in the $500 category, as well as narrowing down a shortlist of project submissions to be eligible for public voting.
Submissions are accepted until Oct. 2, 2018 with public voting on the semi-finalist video submissions in the $1,500 and $5,000 funding streams to take place from Oct. 15 to Oct. 29, 2018. The winners from all three categories will be announced on Nov. 1, 2018.
