Wind southwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 becoming northwest 20 gusting to 40 early this afternoon. Temperature falling to minus 4 this afternoon. Clearing this evening. Low minus 8 with temperature rising to minus 4 by morning.

Marine – Gale warning in effect.Wind southwest 35 knots veering to northwest 35 this morning then diminishing to northwest 30 this afternoon. Wind diminishing to west 15 near midnight then increasing to southwest 20 Friday morning. Wind diminishing to southwest 15 Friday afternoon. Waves 3 metres subsiding to 2 early this evening and to one overnight.

News Tidbits – There will be a Mask-wa Working Group public meeting today from 2 – 3 p.m. at the Michipicoten Memorial Community Centre.

Tonight is also the CP Holiday Train. It will be stoppping in Chapleau, Dubreuilville and White River. This year’s event will feature Colin James and Emma-Lee.
