Motorists are reporting of a MVC at the bottom of the Montreal River Hill. A transport has lost a load of lumber. Traffic is beginning to be backed up the hill.
ON511 is reporting that all lanes are blocked at this time.

The CMV was hauling lumber and heading south. It might have been travelling too fast at the bottom left hand curve, or lost control for some other reason, but whatever the cause, it rode along the Armco for a few hundred feet, losing part of the load over the right hand side, then the tractor curved across both lanes (multiple wide skid marks) before coming to rest off the northbound shoulder, losing the rest of the load there. Clean up operations were still ongoing late Saturday afternoon.
