Body recovered of missing boater on Whitesand Lake

Members of the Schreiber Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a missing boater on Whitesand Lake.

On Sunday, July 16, 2017, OPP were notified that a 47-year- old man from Schreiber was missing on Whitesand Lake. Police were advised that the male was observed swimming toward his boat and went underwater. He did not resurface.

On July 17, 2017 at approximately 9:00pm the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit located the body of 47-year-old Brian “Joe” CEBRARIO of Schreiber in the waters of Whitesand Lake.
