OPP have not issued anymore information via media release — however, Twitter is showing at tweet from OPPCommunicationsNWR – ADVISORY Ongoing collision investigation, #OPP advising not to pickup hitchhikers in #Geraldtonarea, there is no threat to public safety.

Greenstone Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are advising that Highway 11 between Geraldton and Longlac is closed.  There has been a 2 vehicle collision resulting in serious injuries. Investigators and emergency crews on scene.
