On Monday, March 6, 2017, at approximately 7:15 p.m., members of the Superior East OPP – Chapleau Detachment responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 129 north of Flame Lake Hill in Deans Township.
Preliminary investigation has determined that the vehicle rolled over prior to coming to rest in the north ditch of Highway 129 resulting in the death of one passenger. The driver of the motor vehicle was uninjured.
The occupant of the passenger vehicle, Kenneth GREIG, 77 of Chapleau, Ontario died as a result of the collision.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) were called in to assist with the investigation.
The investigation is continuing.
