Tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Lady Dunn Health Centre Boardroom (downstairs) Sandi Lowe will be presenting a slideshow about her latest book, “The Ley of the Land”. She explains “It is a physical and mystical journey through the Inca Trail, Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. With maps and photos, I hope to take you to this very special area in Peru.”
From her press release, Lowe explains “Ley lines are invisible lines connecting its energy centres (chakras). I travel a ley line to the strong energy centre of Machu Picchu, as well as explore the chakra centres of my body.”
Lowe notes she has noticed a trend of increasing interest in Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. “Many are seeking a spiritual experience through a connection with the ancient mystery of Andean cosmology. Others seek a travel experience, an adventure.” Her new book addresses both of these needs but the gems lie in her sharing the knowledge and lessons she gathered on her journey to follow inner guidance for a pathway to inner peace. Puma, a Peruvian shaman on her trip, offers a wealth of cultural spiritualism that further authenticates Lowe’s experiences.
This is the second book in Sandi’s ‘Led by Grace’ that began with Led by Grace – In the Beginning; a series spanning an eight-year period concluding with her 925-kilometre pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in the fall of 2009.
