GoFundMe Launched to help Wawaite Victim of Fire in Sault Ste. Marie

On February 25th, around 8:45 p.m. Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services were called to an apartment building in the 200 block of Northern Avenue. At that time flames were seen shooting from the second floor windows on the east side of the building.

 

Jesse Kertesz was a resident of that building, and as a result of the extensive damage lost nearly everything he owns. His friend Shannon Lindsay explains the GoFundMe page, “He did not have insurance to cover the loss.  I am asking anyone who knows Jesse Kertesz to please donate anything you can to help him get back on his feet.  I understand financially you may not be in a position to donate.  If that is the case please SHARE this link, or donate anything you have that might help.”
