With permission from Ontario Provincial Police, Wawa-news drove to Alona Bay to see the damage that occurred this morning. Highway 17 has been washed out since early this morning and will remain closed until repairs can be made. Estimates are at this time of at least 24 hours. There are actually two washouts.
