On May 9th, 2024, the heavens welcomed another angel as Judy Lewis peacefully passed away in her home in Elliot Lake, a city she lovingly called home for 43 years.
Judy, a devoted mother to two children: Christine and Darwin and cherished grandmother to two grandchildren: Roxanne and Austin, and her wonderful niece and nephews, left behind a legacy of love and kindness. Throughout her life, Judy embodied a beautiful soul, touching the hearts of all who knew her. Her passion for bingo was unmatched, and her enthusiastic shoutouts during games will be fondly remembered by her fellow players. Judy’s circle of friends was as vibrant as her spirit, with Louise, Marg, Ivan, Teresa, Laura and Stan standing as testament to the deep connections she fostered.
Her presence brought joy and warmth to every gathering, leaving lasting impressions on those fortunate enough to know her. In her 71 years, Judy exemplified grace and resilience, earning her the title of a “clean master” among her loved ones. As she joins her family in the spirit world, including her siblings Frank, Don, Sam, Gilbert, Irene, and her parents Moses and Marie Stone, Judy leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering kindness that will continue to inspire all who were touched by her presence.
