Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the age of 63. Dear son of Harold and the late Hazel Soderlund. Loving brother of Cheryl (Gord Ofield), Don (Crystal Maclean) and Gary. Earl will be fondly remembered by his many extended family and friends, he will be forever in our hearts.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and support staff of the Sault Area Hospital for their compassion and care given.
A celebration of Earl’s life was held in Wawa with interment in Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or Sault Area Hospital Foundation.

Harold and family I am so sad to see that Earl has passed away. I have so any fond memories of us playing on the beach. Our two families living on Hillcrest and then having cottages on the beach. The steam baths and then running into the lake at night. I will never forget the fun times we had and how in my early years that Earl was one of my best friends. I am so sorry to hear the news and my heart reaches out to you Harold and the rest of the family…. we had so much fun back then and that is how I want to remember Earl.
