Twenty hospitals in the North East Local Health Integration Network will be receiving funding from a provincial funding announcement to help hospitals make critical improvements to their facilities, including upgrades or replacements to roofs, windows, heating and air conditioning systems, fire alarms and back-up generators. The Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund (HIRF) was established in 1999 to assist hospitals in renewing their facilities.
The Lady Dunn Health Centre will receive $9,787.
