On Monday December 4, 2017 at approximately 6:00 pm members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East (Chapleau) Detachment had occasion to observe a male and a female together at a Chapleau business. Further investigation revealed that the male was in breach of a recognizance.
As a result a 36 years old Chapleau, Ontario male was arrested and charged with:
- Adult Fail to Comply with Recognizance contrary to section 145(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada,
The accused was held into custody pending a bail hearing on Friday December 8, 2017.
