BOBER, Anatole Ivan

Passed away suddenly at the age of 86 on July 15th, 2017, at the Lady Dunn Health Centre, Long Term Care Facility, Wawa, Ontario. Anatole was born in Veseli, Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine on May 23, 1931. Anatole was an extremely proud, talented and hardworking man who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Beloved husband of Anastasia for 48 years. Proud father of Angela Bober (Andrew Rapp), Nina Godbout (Martin) and Natalie Tedford (Kevin). Loving grandfather (Pappou) of Patrick and Katherine Godbout. Son of the late Ivan and Nina Bober. Brother of the late Wladyslaw, late John, late Mikola, and Klawa, and dear brother-in-law of Marnie.

 

Friends may visit at the P.M. Gilmartin Funeral Home Ltd. (140 Churchill Avenue, Wawa) on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Monica’s Church, Broadway Avenue on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Jaroslaw Lazoryk officiating. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. A luncheon will be served following the interment at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 429, 51 Broadway Avenue, Wawa.
