Wawa Firefighters extinguish Backyard Fire

On Friday, early evening, of July 7th the Wawa Fire Department was called to a residence on Lower Broadway Avenue for a fire that was burning in the backyard. Despite the fog, there was a very brisk breeze blowing. Wawa-news observed firefighters knocking on two doors before getting a response. While a firefighter talked with a male, other firefighters carried a hose through to the backyard and extinguished the fire.
