Students enrolled in the grade 11 and 12 visual arts class in Ms. Annette Lytwenko’s classes at École secondaire Saint Joseph (Wawa) had the opportunity to experiment with watercolor painting techniques. Whether it is the technique of washing, fusion, wet on wet, body language as well as superimposing layers, students were able to experiment. To do this, they researched many artists recognized for their watercolour creations and were thus inspired to reproduce a work of art. Before starting their own creation, the students proceeding to trying out the techniques taught. The final creations demonstrate the student’s true passion for the arts. Magnificent!
