Doug was a pilot for the OMNR Fire, and spent several years at the Wawa Air Base (below the hospital). He flew Otter 403, C-FODW. C-FODW and C-FODX were amongst the last Otters operated by the Province and were put into storage at Sault Ste. Marie in 1989.
I will remember the many flights I had with Doug as a young dockhand.
