On Tuesday, September 4th at 9 a.m. the retired teachers of Wawa and Area gathered at the North of 17 to enjoy a breakfast together. This event has been taking place for the last fourteen years since Linda Ilola retired in June of 2004 and decided to organize this annual event. Every August since then Linda has been busy making arrangements and calling all the retirees to invite them to attend this special event.
Teachers look forward to sharing this meal with their retired colleagues. Linda and her husband, Andy are relocating to the Sudbury area soon. We wish them all the best in their new home.
Thank you, Linda, for starting this wonderful tradition in Wawa and Area.

Mrs.Ilola was and still is my favorite teacher ever. She was my kindergarten teacher and I will never ever forget her!!!!!!
