Wesdome Gold Mines Inc. Makes a Donation to LDHC Foundation

The hospital CEO, Foundation Coordinator and Board Members graciously accept a donation from Wesdome executives.

Wesdome Gold Mine Inc. has increased its 3-year commitment to the Lady Dunn Health Centre Foundation to $25,000. Very welcome news for the LDHC Foundation!

Benoit Bealieu – Chief Engineer (fourth from left), Tania Case, Mine Accountant (third from right) and Marc Andre Pelletier – COO, Chief Operating Engineer (second from right) from Wesdome Gold Mines Inc. visited the Lady Dunn Health Centre to present their second gift, a donation of $10,000.00 to the LDHC Foundation. Kadean Ogilvie-Pinter, LDHC CEO, provided the representatives with a tour of the hospital and thanked them for their very generous support.

This donation will certainly help the hospital Foundation as it embarks on raising funds for the Digital Radiography Upgrade, Phase 2. The second phase of the upgrade requires an additional $150,000 for essential improvements to the diagnostic imaging equipment.  Once completed, the Diagnostic Imaging department will have the most up-to-date technology on the market and will allow the Lady Dunn Health Centre to continue to provide excellent care in radiography.

Wesdome’s donation to the Lady Dunn Health Centre Foundation demonstrates its commitment to health care at the Lady Dunn Health Centre and the communities it serves.  This mining company has generously contributed a total of $16,310.00 to the LDHC Foundation since 2010.  Thank you to Wesdome Gold Mines Inc. for your very generous support!
