News Tidbits – Greyhound fans are saddened today with the death of Ray Emery in Hamilton of drowning. He was selected by the Soo Greyhounds in the 5th round (102nd overall) in 1999, and played three seasons with them from 1999-2002. He went on to play in the NHL for eleven seasons, splitting time with the Ottawa Senators, Philadelphia Flyers, Anaheim Ducks and Chicago Blackhawks.
