Weather –  Today – Periods of snow ending this morning then a mix of sun and cloud. Wind north 20 km/h gusting to 50. Temperature steady near minus 6. Tonight – Partly cloudy. Becoming cloudy after midnight. Wind north 20 km/h becoming southeast 20 near midnight. Low minus 10.

Marine – Gale warning in effect.Wind north 35 knots diminishing to north 25 this morning and to northeast 15 this afternoon. Wind veering to southeast 15 this evening then increasing to southeast 25 overnight. Wind increasing to southeast 35 Friday morning then diminishing to southwest 20 Friday evening. Waves 3 metres subsiding to 2 near noon and to one early this evening. Waves building to 3 to 4 Friday morning then subsiding to 2 Friday evening.

News Tidbits – There was no school bus in Dubreuilville today, and in direct contrast to the bare ground and streets in Wawa – the ground in Dubreuilville is covered with snow, all is ice and slush.
UPDATE 8:40 – The School Bus Transportation Consortium advises that the bus was late today, but was running.
A precautionary boil water advisory was issued for the Mission (Michipicoten River Village) as part of the construction on the Michipicoten River Village Water Tower on Tuesday, November 14th. The interior lining is being replaced.
