Tonight – Periods of snow. Risk of snow squalls over eastern sections this evening. Local amount 5 cm over eastern sections. Low minus 2.

Strong wind warning in effect.Wind south 30 knots diminishing to southwest 20 near noon and to south 15 early this evening. Wind diminishing to west 10 near midnight then becoming light Sunday morning. Wind becoming northwest 10 near noon Sunday. Waves 2 to 3 metres subsiding to one early this evening and to one half metre or less Sunday morning.

 News Tidbits

Today is Remembrance Day. Wawa will mark this day with the parade down Broadway Avenue to Magpie Avenue and to the Cenotaph for a wreath laying ceremony. The parade will begin approx 20 minutes to 11. The full ceremony will begin at the Micipicoten High School Auditorium after the Cenotaph wreath laying.
