Roads – Sault Saint Marie to Montreal River is snow packed with bare and wet roads, snow-covered sections. From Montreal River to White River is snow-packed.

Local – The Wawa Public Library is a busy place today with their Big Book Sale today through Friday. Tonight they will also feature Don Charbonneau. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy a night of music by Don Charbonneau and Friends featuring “Group of Seven” songs! Enjoy music, coffee, and conversation! Donations gratefully accepted.

District – The Chapleau Pike Ice Fishing Derby asks please respect derby rules and refrain from ice fishing on Chartrand Lake, Mulligan’s Bay and the Chapleau River until Saturday morning, as per derby rules. Also, please respect Ontario Ice Fishing Regulations and make sure you have your fishing license on you Saturday. The Derby sold out on January 24th!
