WITTY, Mark

May 10, 1966 – May 24, 2009

Mark passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, due to complications from M.S. at Mount St. Mary Hospital in Victoria, BC.

Mark is survived by his wife Cyn and loving daughters Andrea and Catherine. He will also be missed by his parents Marjorie and Charlie Witty, brothers and sisters; Sandra Mitchell (Bill), Mike van Reek (Irene), Terry Witty (Darlene) and Donna Taylor (Wes) as well as nieces and nephews.

Mark enjoyed his motorcycle, baking bread and doing pottery. He worked for B.C. Ministry of Forests, where he had many friends and colleagues. He was a faithful member of Shelbourne Street Church of Christ.

Mark was loved and well cared for by the staff at St Mary’s, whom the family would like to thank with all our hearts.

A “Celebration of Mark’s Life “, will be held at Shelbourne Street Church of Christ, 3460 Shelbourne Street, on Saturday, May 30th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.
