North Bay OPP – Arrest nade after identity-related online fraud investigation

A North Bay resident is facing charges following an identity-related online fraud investigation.

The West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit commenced an investigation after receiving information about alleged online impersonation.

As a result of the investigation, Ryan KELLEHER, 39 years old of North Bay, was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

• Identity fraud
• Identity theft

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on Monday, January 18, 2027.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have had contact with the accused or experienced similar circumstances to contact the West Parry Sound OPP 1-888-310-1122.

Individuals who believe their identity may have been used without their knowledge or consent are encouraged to contact their local police service.
