North Bay OPP – Arrest made after Breach of Conditions

On October 26, 2026, at approximately 11:45 p.m., members of the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint involving an individual who was away from their residence on Queen Victoria Street in the Town of Desbarats.

Police received information that the individual was in the area of Queen Victoria Street and Lake Huron Drive without their surety, contrary to their release conditions. At approximately 11:45 p.m., police located the individual on Bolton Street and made an arrest.

Donald BADGERO, 42 years old from Desbarats, was charged with: Failure to comply with release order-other than to attend court.

The accused appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Blind River on October 27, 2026, and was held in custody.
