The responses for the request for donations for the Lift for the Legion are starting to come in. Our President Comrade Mary Anne Pearson is hopeful the Campaign will take off as time is short.
So, if You want to support the Wawa Branch 429 do it NOW and make accessability to the (Wawa lounge and hall) easier and help our veterans (old and new) and older Wawa citizens to enjoy their place for social events.
A big Thank You to all who came out to support our St Patrick’s Day Fundraiser. Also a big Thank You to all the volunteers – Marg, Matt, Lise, Jocelyn , The Goodtimers , Branch & Auxillary Members. “Wasn’t That A Party?”
Our Legion Ladies have started their Monthly lunches and dinners. And when the snow finally will be gone it will be easier to get to the hall without climbing the snowbanks. We hope everyone to come out of their places of hibernation and meet at the LEGION.
To all our Comrades sick at home, in the hospital or nursing homes you are in our thoughts and prayers and we wish you well.
