A special weather statement remains in effect for a swath extending from Montreal River Harbour to St. Joseph Island and then to the northeast (New Liskeard/Mattawa). Total rainfall amounts of 15 to 30 millimetres are expected tonight through Tuesday. Periods of rain will continue tonight and Tuesday and then taper off Tuesday night. The rain may change to wet snow briefly late Tuesday afternoon or Tuesday evening.
Roads – Highways in the area are bare and dry, with bare and wet road sections.
Local – Wawa Municipal Council meets tonight at 6 p.m.
