A winter storm (St. Joseph Island to Montreal River Harbour) with 15 to 25 cm of snow and blowing snow Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. It is expected that the snow will begin Tuesday afternoon. Easterly winds gusting up to 60 km/h will cause reduced visibilities in blowing snow. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm are possible before the snow tapers off Wednesday afternoon. Travel is likely to be affected.

News Tidbits – Gilles Couture from Chapleau won the truck in the Chapleau Pike Ice Fishing Derby. First place winner of $10,000 with a 7.13 pound pike, was Ingo Weber. Second place winner, winner of a Honda 4-wheeler, was Cindy Bernard. The third place winner, winner of a $4000 cash prize, Brett Robinson.
