École secondaire Saint-Joseph (Wawa) welcomed this year a Rotary international exchange student from France.
Grégoire Mazal made his way to Wawa with the intention of experiencing northern Ontario. On October 4th, 5th and 6th, he had the opportunity to do just that as he, along with students from the physical education classes and teachers Mr. Mark Szekely, Mr. Michel Lemoyne, Ms. Carole Bouffard and Mr. Shane Mills, made his way to Obatanga Lake for a three-day canoe expedition. The group also had a few surprises in store for Grégoire as he celebrated his 18th birthday during the trip.
According to Grégoire, this trip will be one he will remember for the rest of his life.
